In December 2025, Wikimedia Community User Group Cyprus supported and funded a new series of Wikipedia workshops led by Azniv Stepanian from the Wikimedians of the Western Armenian Language User Group, hosted at Nareg Armenian Schools in Nicosia. The educational programme introduced students to Wikipedia’s values, knowledge co-creation, and community participation, with a focus on the Western Armenian language and content.

Building on skills introduced earlier in the year, the workshops prioritised practical application, peer collaboration, and confidence-building through hands-on editing. This visit strengthened local capacity, reinforced ties between the Western Armenian and Cypriot Wikimedia communities, and further embedded Wikipedia editing within the local educational and cultural context.
