Wikipedia still lacks adequate representation of women and non-binary individuals. Through quarterly edit-a-thons and our annual WikiGap Cyprus campaign, we actively work to close the gender gap in online knowledge.
Wiki Loves Monuments – Cyprus
An annual photo competition aimed at documenting and preserving cultural heritage sites across Cyprus. Participants submit photos of monuments, historical buildings, and public landmarks.
Edit-a-thons & Community Trainings
We organize regular Wikipedia editing sessions with schools, universities, NGOs, and informal community groups. These sessions empower participants with digital skills and foster active citizenship.
Educational Collaborations
We work with educators to integrate Wikipedia into classrooms. Through workshops and mentorship, we equip students to critically engage with knowledge production and representation.
