Mind the WikiGap Cyprus 2025 was a full-day Wikipedia edit-a-thon organised by the Wikimedia Community User Group Cyprus to help close the gender gap in online knowledge by improving the representation of women on Wikipedia. Held at the Goethe-Institut Cyprus to enable broad access, the event brought together participants to collaboratively create and enhance articles about women whose contributions have historically been underrepresented in free knowledge platforms.

The initiative was organised in collaboration with the WICZ+ Foundation, with support from the Goethe-Institut Cyprus and the Girls in STEAM Academy, and was held under the auspices of the Commissioner for Gender Equality, Ms. Josie Christodoulou. The day featured opening remarks and contributions from the Ambassador of Sweden to Cyprus, Mr. Martin Hagström, as well as discussions on gender bias in knowledge production and interactive editing sessions.

Mind the WikiGap highlighted how collective effort and community engagement can help make Wikipedia a more inclusive and representative knowledge space by celebrating and documenting the lives and achievements of women from diverse backgrounds.
